Redondo Beach Blvd between Figueroa & San Pedro experienced the first clean up performed by the County, Public Works & the HOST team. Five RV's were deemed abandoned with no identifable owner and were removed. Clean ups will continue for the next several weeks.
The Rancho Dominguez area will see clean ups starting on the 18th and 20th. Union Pacific Railroad will be in the area on the 21st.
Compton Blvd will see clean ups happening on June 24 and 25th (possibly the 26th). These are non-displacement clean ups (basically removing trash and addressing compromised fire hydrants).
The work that no one thought was possible or even wanted to do. Homelessness, illegal dumping, stolen fire hydrants, burglaries, with limited to no resources were what I faced two years ago when I decided to help in the Unincorporated LA County Areas of East Gardena, West Rancho Dominguez, Rosewood and Willowbrook. Today, we have more resources than ever before. Over a dozen streets remain clear of RV’s & trash. Illegal dumpers are being prosecuted. Fire hydrants are now being addressed.
Take a drive and visit those streets which have remained clean for a year or longer.

There is still much work ahead for the Unincorporated Areas, Harbor Gateway & newly added Rancho Dominguez/East Compton business corridors. Your financial support is crucial to ensure I have the ability to continue tackling these issues. Remember I am a one person operation. All of the work being done on behalf of the business community is to reshape the streets into safer, cleaner, healhier areas.
