What is Illegal Dumping?
It is the act of dumping of waste at a location that is not a permitted waste disposal facility and it usually done for economic gain.
Can we prevent Illegal Duimping?
YES. Our best resource is reporting the dumping as soon as it is appears. The County of Los Angeles, City of Los Angeles & Neighboring Communities offer free resources to pick up the waste. By using these resources, it generates a service request. which will begin to track the incidents at the reported location(s).

The video below showcases some of the individuals we have caught dumping on our streets. The beginning of this video shows a dumper dumping while we are cleaning up at the other end of the railroad. Let's talk crazy:-0
There is nothing easy about catching the illegal dumpers. These individuals typically hit the streets during the overnight hours. Should you catch an illegal dumper in action please do not attempt to stop them. If you can safely take a video or photo of their license plate that will help us.
A few volunteers from the neighboring areas work the streets during the overnight hours to identify those individuals leaving the waste. Businesses we need your help by ensuring all dumping is being reported immediately. If you have cameras and can provide footage please contact me.
To date we have identified over 100+ individuals dumping along our streets in the Harbor Gateway & Unincorporated LA County areas of East Gardena, Rosewood, West Rancho Dominguez, Rancho Dominguez & East Compton.
