CHP COPS Unit

On April 1st, the California Highway Patrol deployed the COPS unit in the Unincorporated LA County areas of East Gardena, West Rancho Dominguez, Rosewood, Los Angeles, Rancho Dominguez & East Compton.

Their primary responsibilities are:

• Blocked Fire Hydrants

• Blocked Driveways

• Abandoned Vehicles (both passenger & recreational)

• Vehicles with expired registration

• Vehicles doubled parked and/or blocking traffic
